The Lucas County Health Department and the Area Office on Aging directed all senior centers in Lucas County to shut down all operations as of Friday March 13, 2020. Our center was able to distribute Seagate Foodbank Commodity boxes on March 24, 2020 out in the parking lot. Participants received a double box of food this month as there will NOT be a commodity distribution in April 2020. Hopefully we will be back to normal schedule for our May distribution on May 26th, 2020.
People have been calling worried about their April bus passes. We are not distributing any more April bus passes due to the TARTA bus trips being free at this time. There is no need for a bus pass for the month of April.
