Steps for Preventing Falls in Older Adults


September is National Falls Prevention month.  Senior Centers, Inc. some tremendous exercise classes to help the older adult with falls prevention:  Matter of Balance, Tai Chi, chair exercise class, walking program and our new class called “Roll the Dice”.  Roll the Dice brings a variety of different exercises to the same class time to prevent boredom.  Just roll the dice, read the title of the exercise and do the exercises together.  Classmates have been known to get the most exercise from laughing at the enjoyment of the class.
